When does the screaming stop?

Hi! I'm a single mum with a 16 and a half month old girl. She's a real sweetie... sometimes! She used to be so easy going, but now she's always grizzling about one thing or another. Some days I feel like I just wanna pull my hair out and I can't wait for bedtime! 
I don't have much support either. Daddy's not around, actually he's 5 hours away now. My parents are a good hour's drive away, but they don't really seem to be all that available. And the people that have offered to help, I feel coz they're not family, I can't really go to them for help. Of course, when they're around, my little girl is a sweet angel.
Today, I have a headache from all her screaming and grizzling. She even grizzles while she's playing... she's doing that right now! I don't understand it.

hey hun 
i can totally understand where you are i was a solo parent to my 6 yr old son josh for the first 3 and a half years of his life (sperm donour walked out when i was 15 weeks preg) it does get hard at times, but NEVER be scared to ask for help hun.
When she is acting up have you tryed to distract her with something else or try not paying attention to her i know it can be hard not to do that but reward good behavior she a bit young for any sort of consiquence for her behavior but if she see that if i throw a tantrum mum walks away or doesnt pay me attention but when i stop she picks me up or we go play or something like that they will start to stop hun.
It takes alot of time for this to work but it does work i done that with my boy.
Now i have a 6 yr old tantrums to try sort out lol
